Paulina Kam

Paulina Kam is a partner in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office. She has extensive experience in real estate development (including master-planned communities, air space parcel subdivisions, multi-family, residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments), commercial lending, commercial and investment real estate, general business law, and commercial and residential conveyancing. Paulina regularly advises developers on a broad range of real estate development matters including site acquisition, land assemblies, financing, rezoning, and subdivision and servicing requirements. She acts primarily for developers and lending institutions and her clients include some of British Columbia's most successful and prominent development companies and lending institutions.

Paulina co-leads the firm's strata corporation windup group. With her extensive experience in real estate and condominium law, she has advised and assisted multiple strata corporations in the complex strata windup process.

Paulina is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association's Real Estate, Banking and Business Law sections. She has also co-chaired the Annual CLE Residential Real Estate Conference.

Paulina was a national caliber track and field athlete and now enjoys participating in competitive volleyball in her spare time. She appreciates experiencing the various cultures of the world, traveling at every opportunity, delving into the wonderful and complex world of wine, and is a home foodie.

Having traveled extensively abroad as well as having resided in Asia, Paulina is conversationally fluent in Cantonese and Japanese, and is refining her rudimentary French and Spanish.
