Brent Arnold speaks with the London Free Press about today's cyber threat environment

In the wake of a cyber attack that paralyzed London, Ontario's public library system, Brent Arnold took a moment recently to lay out the current cyber threat landscape for the London Free Press.

According to Brent, the "MUSH" sector – municipalities, universities, school boards and hospitals – are particularly vulnerable to such threats: "For one, they don't have tons of money to spend on cyber security. So, sometimes, they're tempting targets because hackers know they're not as well protected as, say, a bank."

Beyond these specific risk areas, however, Brent underscored the need for all businesses to remain vigilant as the number of cyber incidents continues to grow: "Lots of Canadian businesses and organizations are still not properly prepared for this risk, but many are and they're just dealing with very sophisticated threat actors."
