Khalil is a partner in the real estate team, specialising in investment, development and asset management work. He acts for pension funds, private investors, large developers and institutional investors. Khalil is highly regarded for his commercial, pro-active approach and getting deals done with the minimum fuss.

Khalil is experienced in a wide range of development, investment and asset management work. He acts on sales, purchases, lettings, sale and leasebacks, financings as well as the property elements of corporate-led acquisitions and disposals. Khalil has a particular focus on logistics and has acted for Industrials REIT for a number of years building up a multi let industrials platform which is now worth in excess of £500 Million.

Khalil's clients include Industrials REIT (formerly Stenprop), U+I Plc, USS, London & Strategic Land and Ellis Campbell Group.

Experience

• Refinancing of 30 multi-let industrial estates for Stenprop with Re-Assure with a term facility of £65 million. The total value of the properties were in excess of £160 million.
• Advising Stenprop on all of its acquisitions and financings of multi-let industrial sites (92 and counting) over a period of five years with a gross current value of £500 million.
• Acting for London and Strategic Land for an acquisition for a development site in Croydon and subsequently securing planning permission for 126 Units for phase 1 and sale of phase 2 at the point of planning being submitted for a further 140 units.
