Seminar
ThinkHouse Privacy Club
21 May 2025
09:15-12:30
We're pleased introduce our new ThinkHouse Privacy Club.
ThinkHouse Privacy Club will deliver interactive, deep-dive workshops covering two data protection topics in each workshop. The topics are designed to be everyday issues, relevant to clients in all sectors. We will use practical examples and case studies to workshop the issues collectively, giving attendees the opportunity to discuss and learn from other in-house counsel, as well as gaining valuable insight and guidance from our data protection experts.
In this first workshop the topics we will cover are:
- Data protection in commercial contracts. We will look at controller vs processor analysis, negotiation points in controller-to-processor clauses, different types of data sharing agreements and requirements for joint controller agreements.
- How to run a DPIA. We will run a case study of a client looking to procure a biometric system for its operations and consider how a DPIA should be run for that procurement.
We hope to create a strong network of senior in-house counsel and those responsible for privacy, that enables members to share experiences and challenges in a collaborative environment.
Please register your interest in attending the first ThinkHouse Privacy Club.
