Pension risk transfer forum: Turning strategy into success
22 September 2026
15:00-18:00
Bringing together perspectives from Gowling WLG and LCP, the forum will explore how schemes can move from end-game strategy to successful execution, with practical insights on setting strategy, understanding pricing dynamics and negotiating effectively to achieve the right outcome for your members.
Topics will include:
- Strategy - Case studies on how other pension schemes have approached setting the right strategy and what you should look out for in a rapidly changing market
- Pricing - How 2026 has been a dynamic year for the insurance market, what is driving pricing beneath the surface, and what schemes should be watching as the market develops into 2027 and beyond
- Negotiation - Lessons learnt from live insurance and superfund transactions and tips on how to best engage with insurers and superfunds to run negotiations in a way that achieves your objectives
The session will also include discussion, networking and the opportunity to ask questions on the day.
I hope you can join us for what promises to be an insightful and thought-provoking afternoon.
