On May 1, 2020, Wayside Technology Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: WSTG), an IT channel company providing innovative sales and distribution solutions, completed its acquisition of Interwork Technologies Inc. from FirePower Equity Inc. Interwork will be integrated into Wayside's Lifeboat Distribution business.

Lifeboat Distribution (now CLIMB Channel Solutions), a subsidiary of Wayside, is an international value-added distributor for virtualization/cloud computing, security, application and network infrastructure, business continuity/disaster recovery, database infrastructure and management, application lifecycle management, science/engineering, and other technically sophisticated products.

FirePower Equity Inc., a division of FirePower Capital, is a Toronto-based private equity firm focused on the mid-market space.

Interwork is a Toronto-based value-added specialty distributor focused on cyber security, information management and network solutions in both Canada and the US.
