Bio
Alycia Noë is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. Alycia will focus her work with the Intellectual Property Group, specifically in areas of patent litigation and patent prosecution.
Alycia graduated from McGill University (B.C.L. and J.D.). While in law school, Alycia founded the McGill Law Supper Club which provided the opportunity to explore new cuisines and network with fellow students. Alycia was a legal intern at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal and an intern at Tribunal administratif du Quebec (TAQ). She was the executive managing editor of the McGill Journal of Law and Health and wrote publications for the Centre of Genomics and Policy housed on McGill’s campus. Alycia was also the first recipient of Gowling WLG’s Life Sciences, Society & the Law Scholarship.
Prior to entering law school, Alycia obtained a Ph.D. in biology, studying skeletal muscle degeneration in mice, and a Bachelor of Arts and Science in molecular biology, economics, and French literature and language.
Outside of work, Alycia enjoys cooking restaurant quality dinners at home, spending time with her family and pets, and swimming.
