Andrew Baldin

Andrew Baldin is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office, practising in the firm’s Disputes Group. He maintains a broad practice representing clients in a range of litigation matters. Andrew has experience appearing before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and various administrative tribunals in British Columbia.
Andrew originally joined Gowling WLG as an articling student and has since returned to the firm as an associate following his call to the bar.
Andrew obtained his JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During law school, where he was deeply involved in student leadership and professional development. Andrew served as president of the Sport, Entertainment and Law Society and president of the Allard Beavers Rugby Club. He also participated in the Business Law Clinic, where he advised start-ups and small businesses on matters, including corporate formation, shareholder agreements, governance considerations, and early-stage commercial issues.
Prior to law school, Andrew earned his undergraduate degree from Brock University, where he studied business. While at Brock, Andrew was a member and captain of the Varsity Men’s Soccer Team. He was recognized as an All-Canadian Student-Athlete in each year of study and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honour Society after graduating in the top 10% of his class.
