Cassandra Khatchikian

Cassandra Khatchikian is a senior associate in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. She is a member of the Advocacy department where she practices general litigation, including insurance defence, commercial litigation and professional liability.

In her insurance defence and commercial litigation practice she represents a broad range of institutional clients, including insurance companies. She vigorously defends her insurer clients, assists them with advancing subrogated claims and also provides insurance coverage opinions.

In her professional liability practice, Cassandra defends health care professionals in regulatory proceedings and civil litigation matters.

Cassandra has significant courtroom experience, her effective oral and written advocacy sets her apart from her peers and she quickly gains the trust of her clients. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court, and the Licence Appeal Tribunal.
