
Bio
Danielle St Jean is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, focusing her work with the Intellectual Property Group.
Danielle is enrolled in the Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa and has completed her first year of study. A passionate enthusiast of technology and gaming, Danielle previously competed as a professional video game player and now represents the University of Ottawa in the NECC league.
Prior to entering law school, Danielle graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Guelph, with a minor in Mathematics. She later completed graduate coursework in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and worked as a graduate researcher, comparing the efficacy of machine learning algorithms.
Danielle also held roles in the technology industry as a product owner and client manager, where she was actively involved in the software development life cycle.
Danielle recently joined the uOttawa Outdoors Club de plein air as an executive and serves as an associate editor for the Ottawa Law Review. She enjoys playing beach volleyball, cycling, and reading mystical realism. Danielle has a deep appreciation for classical music and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
