Drew Hubka

Drew Hubka is an associate in Gowling WLG's Calgary office and a member of the firm’s Corporate Group. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate commercial law for both public and private issuers. Drew provides pragmatic, business-focused advice that helps clients navigate complex legal challenges and negotiations, drive growth, and achieve their strategic objectives.

In addition to his in-depth legal knowledge, Drew brings a wealth of practical business acumen to his practice, bolstered by his extensive experience working as in-house counsel for a national publicly traded retailer, where he oversaw a diverse range of operational, legal and strategic initiatives pertaining to the retailer and its Canada-wide franchise network.

Prior to his legal career, Drew spent over a decade in the agricultural industry, gaining hands-on experience in business operations throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Drew is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and earned his Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University.
