
Bio
Frédéric is a law student in Gowling WLG’s Montréal office. He is currently enrolled in the BCL/JD program at McGill University’s Faculty of Law. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and politics from the Université de Montréal and a master’s degree in the same field from the University of Toronto.
With five years’ experience in the public sector, Frédéric has held various positions working with ministers and members of parliament, notably serving as Senior Regional Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs at Global Affairs Canada. This experience allowed him to develop a deep understanding of governmental mechanisms and governance strategies.
Additionally, he has held research assistant positions at the Université de Montréal, the University of Toronto, and Ryerson University, collaborating with several professors.
Alongside his academic and professional journey, Frédéric actively participates as a Youth Leader on Interac Corp.’s Council in Toronto, where he contributes to launching innovative initiatives in the banking and financial sectors. He is also competitively involved with the Montreal Rowing Club and participates in McGill’s Legal Information Clinic, representing student interests before the University Council.
