Jeramie Gallichan
- Year of Call, Ontario (2015)

A Disputes and Commercial Litigation partner at Gowling WLG’s Waterloo Region office, Jeramie Gallichan helps business leaders and institutions navigate high-stakes disputes where legal, technical, and reputational risk converge.
Jeramie’s practice spans large-scale technology disputes (including AI, cryptocurrency, and cybersecurity), fraud and asset recovery, shareholder conflicts, complex commercial litigation, and municipal liability. He also has deep experience in crisis management, arbitrations – both domestic and international – and high-sensitivity employment matters.
Clients rely on Jeramie when a matter requires more than legal firepower – it needs strategic judgment, clarity under pressure, and the emotional intelligence to manage competing interests. Known for his thorough, steady, and solutions-focused approach, Jeramie excels in helping clients see their options clearly and act with confidence, whether at trial, in arbitration, or around the negotiating table.
Jeramie draws on a unique professional background. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a talent agent in Toronto, representing some of Canada’s most recognized performers. That experience sharpened his ability to manage high-pressure relationships and advocate effectively, skills he now brings to business-critical legal matters.
Jeramie is deeply rooted in Waterloo Region, where he was born and raised. He earned his Honours Arts & Business Degree from the University of Waterloo and his JD from the University of Ottawa, where he served as a Writing Leaders Fellow and National Social Justice Fellow.
Jeramie was elected as a Board Trustee at the Waterloo Region Law Association, and volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario and the Ontario Justice Education Network. Outside of practice, he’s a proud parent and dedicated volunteer in youth sports.
