Bio

Kai is a Principal Associate in the Real Estate practice group of Gowling WLG's Frankfurt office. He advises national and international investors on complex real estate transactions by way of asset and share deal. Kai has extensive experience in advising on (cross-border) portfolio transactions in all asset classes as well as project developments. He provides comprehensive advice on distressed real estate transactions and refinancing transactions as well as ongoing asset management.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG in 2024, Kai worked for another leading international law firm.

Experience

Advised an investment fund on the sale of several (distressed) assets.
Advised Samsung SRA Asset Management on the significant refinancing of Commerzbank Tower in Frankfurt.<
Advised a leading developer of logistics and industrial assets on the acquisition of an operational asset in Cologne (with planned extension).
Advised an institutional investor and Sonar Real Estate on the acquisition of the office complex Zielstattstraße 42, 44 and 48 in Munich.
Advised a leading developer and owner of logistics properties in Europe on a sale-and-lease-back transaction of a logistics property in Düsseldorf/Neuss.
Advised an institutional investor on the acquisition of a residential portfolio consisting of more than 800 residential units.
Advised Patron Capital Advisers and Sonar Real Estate on the acquisition of the office building „Prisma“ in Frankfurt.
Advised Samsung SRA on the sale of the „Silvertower“ in Frankfurt by way of an interest-deal.
Advised an investor on the acquisition of the "St. Martin Tower" in Frankfurt by way of a share deal.
