Lia Machado

Lia initially qualified in Brazil but moved to the UK early in her career and has been dual qualified since 2013.

She advises institutional clients on landlord and tenant matters, acquisitions, disposals and financing. Lia also specialises in providing real estate advice on corporate transactions.

Lia is known for her ability to engage with clients and really listen to what they want. Having previously worked in-house for a large telecoms company, she understands the commercial requirements of a business and is astutely aware of the importance of client relationships.

Lia has been part of the CSR and ESG committees of all organisations she has worked for in the past 12 years, working on social impact projects, volunteering and fundraising. She was part of the team who assisted a major telecoms company with the implementation of their ESG strategy in the UK.
