
Bio
Manon Robert has been working in the legal domain since 1984. Encouraged by her experience and upon obtaining her certificate in law in the 1990s, she became a paralegal in the commercial and civil litigation sector.
She provides assistance to lawyers in the process of managing proceedings, from drafting proceedings projects, attachments before judgment or seizure after judgments (enforcement of judgments), to the preparation of bills of costs, of interrogation summaries, to any other task related to the organisational aspect of a matter of great scope.
She performs diverse searches in the Land Registry, the Register of personal and moveable real rights, the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada, as well as perusing civil litigation, statutory, penal and criminal registers and the Federal Court of Canada's register. She also analyzes the results of these searches and drafts the appertaining reports.
She acts as director of continuing education at the Québec Association of Paralegals.
