Mathieu Santos-Bouffard

Mathieu Santos-Bouffard is a partner in Gowling WLG's Montréal office, working in the firm's Business Law department.

Working with companies of all sizes, Mathieu focuses his practice on commercial transactions, including their tax implications, and the implementation of corporate structures, mainly in the tech and construction sectors. His work also involves business sales and purchases, capital venture investments and corporate tax planning.

He also drafts various types of technology-related agreements, including SaaS, license and distribution agreements, and handles certain cleantech and FinTech regulatory issues (money services businesses licences, FINTRAC, RPAA, AMP, AMF etc.).

In his free time, Mathieu enjoys cycling and jogging.

He practises law in English and French, and is also fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
