Bio
Rowan Brzezinski is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, focusing her work with the Business Law and Intellectual Property Groups.
Rowan completed her law degree at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). During her studies, she acted as a general and executive member of numerous societies, including those dedicated to community outreach and health law. Rowan also worked as a teaching assistant at the Ted Rogers School of Management for the undergraduate Business Law and Environmental Law courses. Through TMU’s Integrated Practice Curriculum, she gained professional experience as an in-house counsel legal intern at a national construction company, as a placement student at a boutique intellectual property firm, and as a legal clinic student for startup companies.
Prior to entering law school, Rowan completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honours from Carleton University. During her undergraduate studies, she held several extracurricular positions including Women’s Head Captain of the Swim Team and Lab Manager and Research Assistant in the Department of Biology.
In her spare time, Rowan enjoys swimming, reading vintage biology books, and trying new recipes.
