
Bio
Sarah Bonner-Proulx is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office. She completed her JD at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law.
During her studies, Sarah gained advocacy experience as a caseworker with Pro Bono Students Canada's Family Justice Centre. She had the opportunity to work closely on preparing submissions for a Supreme Court of Canada appeal and compete in moots, including the Walsh Moot, where her team placed first overall for both written and oral arguments.
Rooted in her Northern Manitoba upbringing, Sarah is guided by a strong commitment to advocacy and relationship-building. She has served as Vice-President Advocacy of the University of Manitoba Students' Union and on the boards of the University of Manitoba and the Institute for International Women's Rights. Sarah also remains an active member Start Proud's Corporate Relations executive team. Outside of law, Sarah enjoys hiking, scuba diving, playing piano and cheering on the Montreal Canadiens.
