Simon Brown helps clients to bring sites forward for development. He provides clear and commercial advice to a range of clients including landowners, house builders, developers and promoters. He advises on strategic options, instant contracts, promotion agreements, as well as joint ventures, collaboration, overage and development agreements.
Recent transactions include acting for three landowners on a 45 acre site in Northamptonshire, a Promoter on a scheme in Norfolk consented for 1200 units, a house builder on a site in Hampshire consented for 330 units, and negotiating a development agreement for the regeneration of a former hospital site in the West Midlands. He has also been acting for a client on the redevelopment of parts of Hemel Hempstead town centre (including offices, retail and housing).
In the commercial sector he has worked for a range of large corporates advising them on acquisitions, pre-lets and the management of operational portfolios.
