Thomas Hartmann advises clients on all aspects of labour/employment law and company pension benefits with a focus on restructuring and M&A transactions. He regularly represents companies in all matters of co-determination law, from negotiations with trade unions and works councils to conciliation board proceedings and labour court litigation.
Thomas has more than 15 years of experience in advising employers in all matters of labour and employment law. He completed a Master's degree in Law at Victoria University of Wellington and is a certified specialist for labour and employment law (Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht).
Prior to joining Gowling WLG in 2024, Thomas worked for major German and international law firms and has been recognized by Handelsblatt/Best Lawyers in its 2023 and 2024 list of "Best Lawyers" for Labour and Employment law.
