Tina Aswad is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Montréal office and a member of the firm’s Labour, Employment & Equalities Group.
She advises clients on all aspects of individual and collective labour relations and drafts employment-related documents (employment contracts, policies, service agreements, restrictive covenants, compensation plans). She has extensive experience in labour and employment litigation matters, particularly those involving dismissals and unfair competition.
She also acts as an external investigator in cases involving complaints of psychological or sexual harassment in the workplace and regularly conducts workplace climate analyses.
She is frequently called upon to advise companies on issues related to privacy and French language requirements. She has advised numerous employers in the context of corporate restructuring.
As part of her practice, she appears before all levels of civil and administrative courts in Quebec. She also frequently assists professionals in investigations conducted by their professional orders and represents them in complaints before the Disciplinary Council.
