
Bio
Wynona Klemt is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office, practicing in the firm's Advocacy Department and Environmental Law Practice Group.
She supports industry, government, and First Nations clients on a broad range of environmental, regulatory, and Indigenous law matters. Her work includes environmental litigation and judicial reviews, as well as advising on permitting, compliance, Indigenous governance, waste diversion, and natural resource projects in the energy and forestry sectors.
Wynona holds a JD from UBC with a specialization in Environmental Law. Prior to law, she obtained an MSc in Biology and worked as an environmental scientist on pollution monitoring projects across Ontario, Alberta, and the Northwest Territories. Her research has been published in Environmental Pollution and Environmental Science & Technology.
