Gowling WLG partner Greg Standing named a leader in motor finance
Greg Standing, partner at international law firm Gowling WLG, formerly Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co, has been named as a leader in the world of motor finance.
The Motor Finance Power 50 ranked Greg in the top ten of its list celebrating the most important, influential and notable members of the motor finance industry.
Gowling WLG has also been shortlisted in the 'Legal Provider of the Year' category at the Motor Finance Awards 2016. The awards, to be held in Frankfurt on 7 April 2016, recognise the achievements of the European motor finance industry in 2015.
Greg said: "It's an honour to be named in the Power 50 for a fourth consecutive year, and to have made it in to the top ten for the first time. I'm also thrilled to see several clients making well-deserved appearances too."
Partner Stuart Young, who leads Gowling WLG's Automotive sector group, added: "This ranking is fantastic recognition of the work Greg does, particularly as it is voted for by individuals within the industry. He has vast experience and a niche sought-after expertise, so it is no surprise for him to be repeatedly recognised as a major player in the motor finance world."
Greg has spent more than 15 years working in the finance industry. A regular contributor to Motor Finance, he frequently advises clients on consumer, asset and motor finance cases, Consumer Credit Act issues and the FCA supervision of the industry.
Motor Finance is a leading publication in the vehicle finance industry.
