Carla Chirila

Carla Chirila is a legal talent advisor at Gowling WLG, where she supports students and articling students throughout every stage of their journey with the firm. She is responsible for initiatives related to recruitment, onboarding, professional development, engagement, and performance management for emerging legal talent. She works closely with lawyers and partners to provide students and articling students with a rewarding experience while fostering their development and success within the firm.

Prior to assuming her current role, Carla practised as a labour and employment lawyer at Gowling WLG, following the completion of her articling term with the firm. In her practice, she advised employers on a wide range of workplace and labour relations matters and assisted in resolving issues arising in the areas of labour and employment law.

Drawing on her experience in private practice and her master’s degree in business administration, Carla supports students and articling students throughout their professional journey at the firm. She leverages her understanding of legal practice and her passion for talent development to help them thrive and achieve success.
