Bio

David Sunday is a partner in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office where his practice focuses on municipal and land development issues. David is a Law Society of Ontario Certified Specialist (Municipal Law: Land Use Planning and Development) and a member of the firm's National Municipal Law Group, as well as the National Expropriation Law Group.

David's experience includes advising clients throughout Ontario in relation to land acquisitions and dispositions, land use controls, municipal approvals, subdivision and condominium issues, title issues, title repair and expropriation matters. In the course of his practice, David regularly appears before the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

David is a member of the Ontario Expropriation Association, the International Right of Way Association, and the Urban Land Institute. He is a member of the Regional and Municipal Affairs Committee of the Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Housing Committee of Supportive Housing of Waterloo.
