Prior to joining Gowling WLG, some of Emily’s transactional and advisory work included acting for:

• Safran in its contemplated acquisition of RTX (Raytheon) subsidiary Collins Aerospace’s high-technology actuation and flight control activities in a cash offer based on a USD 1.8 billion enterprise value.
• KKR portfolio company IVI RMA in its EUR 500 million acquisition of Eugin Group, a reproductive medicine group, in a consortium bid with GED Capital.
• Canadian and US subsidiaries of a global mine contracting and engineering company in its CAD 50 million secured credit facility with The Toronto-Dominion Bank.
• Volaris Group in its acquisition of Equiplano, a provider of public administration software in Brazil.
• Volaris Group in its purchase of Cactus Utilities from investment firm Segersta. Through its software, Cactus Utilities manages more than half of Sweden’s drinking water production.
• AssetWorks in its acquisition of the assets of Michigan-based Go Solutions, a provider of custom software solutions to simplify the Medicaid reimbursement process for K-12 school districts.
• Bibliocommons in connection with multi-year software-as-a-service subscription agreements with multiple US states and counties, each with multiple library units.
• Softlink in connection with its launch of library management products and modules, developing terms for use and privacy policies.
• Topaz Technologies in renegotiating software license and SaaS terms with various higher-education institutions and biopharmaceutical companies.
