Jonathan Van Netten

Jonathan Van Netten is a partner in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office, practising in the Recovery Services Group with an emphasis on mortgage enforcement and debt recovery litigation.

Combining knowledge and experience, Jonathan delivers mortgage enforcement services to large financial institutions, credit unions, trust companies and mortgage investment corporations. He also works alongside lenders in the recovery of debts, through the enforcement of loan agreements, guarantees and security agreements. Committed to providing clients with innovative and cost-effective solutions, he provides advice to clients at all stages of the enforcement process, including the pre-litigation, litigation and post-judgment execution phases. He also has experience assisting clients in resolving their disputes through mediation.

Jonathan has represented clients in the Provincial Court, Supreme Court, and Court of Appeal, as well as in arbitrations before the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre and the International Chamber of Commerce.
