Kristian A. Duff

Kristian A. Duff is a partner in Gowling WLG's Calgary office, practising in the area of professional liability law, with a particular focus on medical malpractice, errors and omissions, directors' & officers' liability, and commercial litigation defence work.

Kristian takes an aggressive approach to the defence of claims with an emphasis on cost-effective resolution and a pragmatic, creative approach to problem-solving for clients. He has appeared before all levels of the Alberta Courts.

Kristian volunteers his time with the Alberta Court of Justice civil litigation project and the Court of King's Bench Alberta Amicus project, where he provides advice and guidance to those individuals who cannot afford to pay for legal representation.

Prior to becoming a partner, Kristian was an associate at Gowling WLG, where he also completed his articles.
