Laura Sims is a conveyancer in our Real Estate Group and a member of our Affordable Housing Conveyancing Team, which handles a wide range of volume conveyancing transactions for registered providers of social housing and developer/operators in the retirement living space.

She specialises in high speed, high turnover plot sales for registered providers of social housing including dealing with open market plot sales, shared ownership sales, retirement schemes and extra care schemes.

Laura's clients include Sanctuary Group and Latimer Homes.

Experience

Day to day conduct of plot sales from the issuing of documentation through to completion.
Providing comprehensive replies to enquiries arising on each transaction within two business days.
Consistently meeting tight deadlines.
Handling volume transactions.
Helping clients manage volume caseloads through weekly meetings and responding immediately to ad hoc requests for updates.
Dealing with post completion queries.
Knowledge of Consumer Code for Homebuilders and the UK Finance Mortgage Lenders Handbook (formerly the CML Handbook).
