
Bio
Liam Gahan is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office. He completed his JD at the University of Victoria.
Liam has a strong interest in corporate, securities, real estate, and tax law. During his first summer in law school, he developed his legal and analytical skills with the Department of Justice Canada, where he gained experience in regulatory interpretation and statutory application.
At the University of Victoria, Liam received the course prize in Securities Regulation and achieved the highest mark in Taxation Law, reflecting both his academic excellence and enthusiasm for business law.
Before law school, Liam earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in accounting from the University of Calgary. His involvement in law school included participating in the Business Law Association, contributing to the Appeal Law Review to ensure academic paper clarity, and taking part in the Rugby Law Club.
