Pierre Pilote

Pierre Pilote is the managing partner of Gowling WLG's Montréal office. He also serves on the firm's national management committee, and is head of its France Initiative.
Pierre's legal practice focuses on employment law and labour relations, primarily acting as an advocate for employers in the private and public sectors during collective agreement negotiations. He is also a member of the Ordre des Conseillers en ressources humaines agréées (CRHA).
As a skilled negotiator, Pierre acted as chief negotiator for the Québec government in its negotiations with over 500,000 workers, which resulted in a five-year negotiated agreement.
Drawing from his experience as senior adviser to both the President of the Treasury Board of Canada and the federal Minister of Finance, Pierre has developed extensive knowledge of government administrations.
He serves on the board of directors of several public and private organizations, including Montréal International and Inno-Centre. Pierre has also been designated by the Québec Ministry of Justice and the Office des professions to act as advisor to the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
