Bio
Sharon Chernyak is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office. She completed her JD at the University of Ottawa.
During law school, Sharon worked as a researcher at the Canadian Robotics and AI Ethical Design Lab and the Centre for Law, Technology and Society, a tenant caseworker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, and a policy analyst with the Canadian Autism Spectrum Disorder Alliance. Recently, she assisted in researching and drafting a chapter of The Law of Privacy in Canada textbook.
Prior to attending law school, Sharon received her bachelor of health science with distinction from McMaster University, where she advocated for health policy reform with the McMaster Autism Research Team.
