Tom Price

Tom Price is a partner specialising in complex and high value cross border commercial disputes. Based in Gowling WLG's Birmingham and London offices, he has over twenty five years' experience resolving disputes (usually of a cross border nature), both in the English courts and through international arbitration in various arbitration centres around the globe. Tom is also an expert in jurisdictional issues, cross border enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards and the taking of evidence in cross border disputes.

Whilst Tom deals with disputes involving clients from many jurisdictions and in many sectors, he spends much of his time acting for clients from Central and Eastern Europe and in the energy and natural resources sectors. His clients range from state owned industries through to owner-managed businesses and individuals. Tom is an active member of the firm's international arbitration group.

Tom regularly speaks to audiences around the globe on topical issues in international arbitration and cross border litigation. In addition to heading the firm's CIS and CEE desk he is also past chair of the International Bar Association's Litigation Committee and now sits on the Litigation Committee Advisory Board.
