Yash Chavda

Yash Chavda is an associate in Gowling WLG's Toronto office.

Yash's practice focuses on Canadian tax planning, tax dispute resolution, and corporate commercial transactions. His experience includes corporate reorganizations, such as amalgamations and wind-ups, the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Yash completed placements with the tax litigation section of the Department of Justice Canada and the in-house legal team of a large Ontario pension plan.

Yash joined Gowling WLG's Toronto office as a summer student in 2024 and completed his articles with the firm in 2025/2026.
