Join us during London Climate Action Week, as Gowling WLG and Bright Tide host a special screening of the 25‑minute advocacy cut of Ocean with David Attenborough. This powerful, short film highlights the urgency and beauty of our ocean world, setting the stage for a meaningful conversation about the role of law, policy and collective action in protecting marine ecosystems.

The evening will open with an introductory talk from Dr. Ralph Chami, Co‑Founder and CEO of Blue Green Future and a globally recognised voice on ocean economics and climate finance.

Following the screening, guests will be invited to a fireside discussion and Q&A, chaired by Sangeeta Laudus, Senior Strategic Communications Advisor at Bright Tide, with contributions from Olly Scholey, Producer and Director at Silverback Films Ltd, and Dr Tom Appleby, Head of Governance and Legal Affairs at the Blue Marine Foundation.

Together, they will explore the challenges facing our oceans, the opportunities for impactful collaboration, and the practical steps organisations and policymakers can take to drive lasting change.
