Apex Technology completes cross-border merger with Static Control Components

On July 17, 2015, Apex Technology Co., Ltd. (SZSE: 002180) and Static Control Components, Inc. completed their previously announced strategic merger.

China-based Apex, a subsidiary of Zhuhai Seine Technology Co., Ltd., is the world’s largest supplier of aftermarket printing cartridge chips and the owner and pioneer of core and applied technology. US-based Static Control is the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket imaging systems and components .

The firm was counsel to Zhuhai Seine Technology Co., Ltd. on Canadian aspects of this transaction with a team that included Jack Yong, Julia Winters and Lorena Vlad.
