Effective April 16, 2018, Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. acquired substantially all the assets of Mega International Commercial Bank (Canada), which will be operated as a branch under the name Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. with its principal office in Toronto, Ont. The bank provides financing, trade finance and remittance services to Canadian companies and Taiwanese and other foreign companies doing business in Canada.
