Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Phase 1D Redevelopment Project reaches financial close

On February 20, 2024, Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) awarded a fixed-price contract of $1.33 billion to PCL Partnerships to design, build and finance the CAMH Phase 1D Redevelopment project.
The PCL Partnerships team includes:
- Applicant Lead: PCL Constructors Canada Inc.
- Design Team: Diamond Schmitt Architects & Architectural Resources
- Construction Team: PCL Constructors Canada Inc.
- Financial Advisor: TD Securities
The Phase 1D Redevelopment project includes the construction of a new building – the Secure Care and Recovery Building, to support CAMH’s forensic services. Phase 1D is the fourth and final part of the hospital’s broader redevelopment project.
PCL will now begin mobilizing on site and construction will start in spring 2024. Construction is targeted to be completed in winter 2028/2029.
