Gowling WLG forms dedicated remote ADR team in Ottawa
With a view to helping advance disputes amid physical distancing protocols, Gowling WLG's Ottawa office is excited to announce the formation of a dedicated remote ADR panel.
As courts across the country curtail their operations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, typical litigation and dispute resolution processes face unprecedented challenges. In response to these hurdles, our ADR team offers mediations, arbitrations, limited step-specific arbitration, and early neutral evaluation services - all by video conference. Services are available in English and French.
"Despite the challenges presented by COVID-19, there is still a desire to seek expeditious resolution of ongoing disputes," said Wayne Warren, managing partner of Gowling WLG's Ottawa office. "With this understanding top of mind, we are pleased to offer this suite of virtual services as we continue to offer assistance during this uncertain time."
Requiring only a computer, tablet or mobile phone and a secure and stable internet connection, Gowling WLG's virtual ADR services encompass a range of areas, including:
- Corporate and commercial litigation
- Shareholder litigation
- Personal injury
- Property and business insurance claims
