Hanna is patent paralegal with nine years of experience in patent prosecution across several international intellectual property (IP) firms. She started her path in the patent field as a part of a team specializing in handling substantive examination objections at a renowned IP firm in Ukraine operating in former USSR countries. During this tenure, Hanna developed her passion for the patent field, acquired deep knowledge in understanding patent law, and gained profound experience in drafting responses to office actions and dealing with examination objections. Her degree in Linguistics and Translation of English and German languages enabled her to perform translations of patent specifications, further strengthening her understanding of patent language.
Hanna has valuable experience working as an in-house patent formalities manager at a global enterprise, where she coordinated worldwide patent filings and supported in-house patent attorneys in managing the prosecution of patent applications across multiple jurisdictions. For the past two years, Hanna has been working in the patent prosecution field in the Middle East region, gaining first-hand and comprehensive knowledge of local practices of the UAE and KSA patent offices in both formalities and substantive examination matters. Hanna is committed to continuously advancing her knowledge and skills in patent law, recently completing a post-graduate diploma in Patent Management from a German university.
