Ian Therrien

Ian Therrien is a tax associate based in the Ottawa office, where he is cultivating a comprehensive practice in both domestic and international taxation. His expertise includes advising clients on tax issues related to financing, corporate reorganizations, and domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

Ian is currently completing the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program.

Before pursuing his legal studies at McGill, Ian earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa. During his undergraduate studies, he completed several internships in both the public and private sectors. Ian has also authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in the field of organic electronics and through his work with Canada's Department of National Defence.

Ian is fully fluent in English and French.
