Jennifer Therrien

Jennifer Therrien is a bilingual litigation partner in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, practicing in both English and French. Her practice focuses on complex insurance defence, commercial litigation, and construction and real estate disputes, where she regularly represents insurers, corporations, and professionals in technically demanding and procedurally sophisticated matters.

Jennifer advises casualty and property insurers and their insureds across the full spectrum of coverage, defence, and subrogated claims. She has significant experience managing multifaceted disputes involving catastrophic bodily injury, property damage, product liability, errors and omissions, and professional liability, frequently in matters characterized by multiple parties, competing interests, and extensive expert evidence. In her construction and real estate litigation practice, Jennifer represents residential and commercial owners, developers, contractors, design professionals, and corporate clients in disputes arising from contract interpretation, construction deficiencies, project delays, and title issues.
