Jessica Ward

Jessica Ward is a senior associate in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office and a member of the National Corporate Commercial, Funds & Private M&A Group.

She advises clients on corporate governance, structuring, and planning, commercial agreements, and partnerships and joint venture arrangements. She also assists clients in navigating shareholder and founder disputes. Her transactional experience spans exempt-market equity financings, institutional and private lending arrangements, reorganizations and M&A transactions.

Jessica serves a diverse client base, with a focus on emerging and high-growth companies in the technology, life sciences and consumer sectors. She takes a pragmatic, collaborative approach, providing actionable advice, identifying potential issues before they arise, and working effectively with stakeholders and transaction partners to navigate complexities and maximize outcomes.
