Konstantine Ketsetzis is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Hamilton office, where his practice focuses on corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and shareholder transactions, and helping build businesses from the ground up.
Specializing in M&A transactions, shareholder disputes, and a wide array of commercial contracts, Konstantine takes a strategic and pragmatic approach, always tailored to his clients' specific needs. His diverse background brings a fresh perspective to every case, ensuring efficient and creative solutions. He is committed to keeping processes smooth and straightforward, allowing clients to spend minimal time in the office and more time growing their business.
With over 1,000 transactions completed and numerous deals rescued from the brink of collapse, Konstantine’s expertise extends to franchises, multinationals, and institutions. This expertise has been further recognized as Konstantine also teaches Commercial Law at McMaster University - DeGroote School of Business at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
As a versatile lawyer, Konstantine combines knowledge in corporate-commercial law with a strong litigation background. His journey to law was unique—starting in seminary before discovering his true passion for the legal profession. Fueled by curiosity, he now channels that drive to help businesses not just survive but thrive.
Born and raised in Hamilton, Konstantine is deeply connected to his community. He spent six years on the board of directors for the Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton and continues to support various local organizations, including Lawyers Feed the Hungry – Hamilton, which he helped establish as an Executive Board Member. Konstantine is also a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Hamilton Law Association, the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers’ Association, St. Thomas More Lawyers’ Guild, and the American Hellenic Education Progressive Association (AHEPA).
