Nayoung is a US attorney with over a decade of experience advising multinational companies on the management of their global intellectual property (IP) portfolios. She represents a diverse range of clients in various industries and her expertise covers the full lifecycle of an IP. This includes trademarks, designs and copyrights from their clearance, prosecution, registration and maintenance, as well as exploitation and enforcement. She also counsels clients on IP infringement and unfair competition disputes and litigations, but is particularly called upon for developing and implementing strategic anti-counterfeiting campaigns and brand protection programs.
Her practice extends to the acquisition, development and licensing of brands and intellectual property, where she has drafted and negotiated numerous complex commercial agreements including content distribution and licensing, software and technology license and transfers, as well as agreements for franchises and joint ventures.
