
Bio
Robyn Matthews is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Montréal office.
Robyn has completed her second year of the joint bachelor of civil law and juris doctor (BCL/JD) program at McGill University’s Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Robyn earned a BA from McGill, majoring in international development studies with a minor in Indigenous studies.
During her legal studies, Robyn has been involved with Innocence McGill and the McGill International Law Society. Committed to improving access to justice and uplifting youth, Robyn served on the executive team of L.E.X. (Law Éducation Connexion) Outreach Program, leading legal education workshops in high school classrooms in underserved communities. Robyn was also a student advocate at the McGill Legal Information Clinic, where she advised and assisted students navigating both formal and informal dispute resolution within the University.
