Bio
Sarah Grech is a summer law student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office. She is completing her JD at the University of Toronto.
During law school, Sarah worked with the Future of Law Lab in the AI, Big Data and Digital Health Working Group, performing research to contribute to the creation of a data management framework for the use of AI on health data for a local hospital.
She also volunteers with Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS), where she facilitates a mentorship program between undergraduate students and lawyers.
Before law school, Sarah obtained an HBSc from the University of Toronto, double majoring in immunology and biological anthropology and an MSc from McGill University in microbiology & immunology. Her research focused on the impact of cannabinoids on inflammation caused by HIV infection.
Sarah will focus her summer term in the firm's Intellectual Property Group.
