As a member of the Board, he is involved in setting the strategic direction of the firm and driving its priorities. Leading the Corporate, Finance and Tax practice across the UK, Europe and the Middle East, Stuart has a particular focus on the firm's international strategy and played a key role in its expansion in Germany in 2023.
Stuart previously led the firm's Automotive sector team and continues to be immersed in the sector, advising clients on strategic and cross-border transactions.
Stuart was appointed President of World Law Group (WLG) in 2025, following several years as Secretary of the Board. He is also a trustee of SIFA Fireside, a charity dedicated to reducing homelessness.
"Ultimately, it’s all about people. Great clients and great lawyers working together in an environment that brings out the best in everyone. I want our firm to be a home for talented lawyers. A place where they’re supported, challenged and able to thrive. When you create that kind of culture, the results speak for themselves: stronger relationships, better advice and real value for clients."
