On June 18, 2024, Fondasol Group, an engineering consultancy headquartered in France, announced the acquisition of a majority stake in DEC Enviro, specializing in environmental, geotechnical and materials engineering, hydrogeology, and building sciences, reinforcing its presence in North America.

DEC Enviro is a Quebec-based consulting engineering firm serving cities and municipalities, real estate developers, businesses, industries, and other engineering firms in the Laurentides, North Shore, Quebec, Ontario, and the US.
